DICCI Terms of Service

Last updated 9 September 2026

Version TOS-2.0-2026-09-09 · Effective 9 September 2026

T1. Agreement and service provider

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your account and use of DICCI’s styling, wardrobe, planning, catalogue, image and related services. DICCI is an Egyptian individually owned business based in Cairo, Egypt. “DICCI”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the service.

By creating an account or using DICCI, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Optional permissions and AI features require the separate choices described in the app; acceptance of these Terms is not permission for every optional data use.

If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

T2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. DICCI is not directed to children. You may use DICCI only where its use is lawful.

T3. Your account

Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by DICCI’s failure to use reasonable security. Tell us promptly at support@dicci.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, create accounts through automated means, or attempt to access another customer’s data. DICCI may require identity confirmation for sensitive actions such as data export or account deletion.

T4. What DICCI provides

DICCI lets you organise a digital wardrobe, add eligible DICCI catalogue pieces, receive styling recommendations, save and plan outfits, record wear history, and use optional image and tagging features. Features may vary by account state, wardrobe eligibility, language, device, location, consent, service availability and operational safety gates.

DICCI may improve or change the service. We will not present a disabled, experimental or unavailable feature as available to you. Material changes that affect your rights or data use are handled under T17 and the Privacy Policy.

T5. Styling and AI limitations

DICCI’s recommendations, tags and generated images are assistive outputs. They can be incomplete, incorrect, delayed or visually different from your garments, body, fit, colour or expected result. They do not guarantee appearance, sizing, availability, compatibility, suitability for an occasion, or any professional outcome. Use your judgement before relying on a suggestion.

The See the full look feature uses a DICCI house mannequin, not a likeness of you, and in the launch version uses only eligible DICCI-owned catalogue garment images. Your private wardrobe photos are not eligible inputs to that provider path. DICCI may refuse, delay or disable a request when its consent, rights, safety, cost, integrity or technical checks do not pass. The underlying garment board remains the primary representation of the outfit.

T6. Your content and licence to DICCI

You retain ownership of photographs, garment details, feedback and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant DICCI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, transform, analyse, display and transmit Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve the service, honour the choices you make, and comply with law. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for protected backups and limited legal, security or audit records described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that it does not violate law, privacy, intellectual-property or other rights. Do not upload photographs of people, private documents, illegal material, or content unrelated to the wardrobe feature.

DICCI does not acquire ownership of Your Content merely because you use the service.

T7. Optional analysis and public sharing

If you deliberately choose an optional analysis feature, DICCI may process the selected content as explained at that decision point and in the Privacy Policy. You can decline optional analysis and use the available manual path.

If you deliberately publish or share an outfit, you authorise DICCI to make the sharing preview and its stated information publicly accessible until you withdraw it. You remain responsible for what you choose to share. Withdrawal stops new access through DICCI but cannot recall copies someone else already saved outside our control.

T8. DICCI content and intellectual property

The service, software, interface, DICCI name and branding, DICCI-created catalogue content, house mannequins and other materials supplied by DICCI are owned by or licensed to DICCI. Subject to these Terms, DICCI gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service for your own non-commercial styling and wardrobe purposes.

Catalogue availability does not transfer ownership of a garment image or design to you. DICCI may withdraw catalogue content when rights, quality or operational requirements are not met. A copy you added to your own wardrobe may remain as your private record only where the service and applicable rights allow it.

T9. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • use DICCI for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive or misleading activity;
  • infringe privacy, copyright, trademark or other rights;
  • upload malicious code or attempt to bypass authentication, consent, rate, safety, spend or access controls;
  • probe, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use automated means to create accounts or extract catalogue or customer data;
  • submit content you do not have the right to use;
  • use DICCI output to impersonate, deceive or harm another person; or
  • resell or commercially exploit the service or DICCI content without written permission.

T10. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide product feedback, you allow DICCI to use it without restriction or payment to improve the service. This does not transfer ownership of Your Content or permit DICCI to publish personal information from a support conversation.

T11. Third-party services

DICCI relies on service providers for hosting, authentication, storage, email, diagnostics, analytics and optional AI processing. Their role and the data boundaries are described in the Privacy Policy. Some features may also link to an external site. DICCI is not responsible for an external service you choose to visit, but remains responsible for selecting and governing processors used to provide DICCI.

You are not required to create a direct account with an AI provider or separately accept that provider’s consumer terms to use DICCI. Your relationship is with DICCI, and DICCI remains your support contact.

T12. Privacy and permissions

The DICCI Privacy Policy explains our processing of personal data. iOS permissions and optional AI choices can be declined or withdrawn as described there. A permission may be necessary for the specific feature that uses it, but DICCI will not require an unrelated permission as a condition of using the service.

T13. Service messages and waitlist email

DICCI may send messages needed to authenticate, secure or operate your account. If you join a waitlist or choose product updates, you can unsubscribe using the link in the message or by emailing support@dicci.ai. Service messages essential to an active account are not marketing messages.

T14. Availability, beta services and changes

DICCI may be offered through TestFlight or as an early service while features are tested. Beta features may be incomplete and may change. Do not use a beta as your only record of important information. We aim to keep DICCI available but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanent operation.

We may maintain, limit, suspend or discontinue a feature for security, legal, rights, provider, integrity or operational reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of a material discontinuation and an opportunity to export data available through the service.

T15. Suspension, termination and account deletion

You may stop using DICCI at any time. You can request account deletion inside the app; a seven-day grace period allows cancellation before final deletion, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Deleting the iOS app alone does not delete the account.

DICCI may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers or the service, investigate a suspected violation, comply with law, or address a serious breach of these Terms. We may terminate an account for a material or repeated violation. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue or export available data, unless doing so would create risk or violate law.

T16. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DICCI is provided “as is” and “as available”. DICCI does not promise that recommendations, tags, images, catalogue content or service availability will always be accurate or meet every expectation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that rule, DICCI is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these Terms, or for loss caused solely by your unlawful use, an unauthorised third party, or an external service outside DICCI’s reasonable control.

Where DICCI is legally responsible, its responsibility will be assessed under applicable law and the facts of the claim. These Terms do not require you to waive a remedy that applicable consumer law gives you.

T17. Changes to these Terms

DICCI may update these Terms to reflect service, provider, security or legal changes. We will publish the new version and effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice and request renewed acknowledgement where required. Continued use after a non-material update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

T18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without depriving you of any mandatory consumer protection available under the law that applies to you. Please contact support@dicci.ai first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be brought before the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent protective relief where legally available.

T19. Apple App Store terms

If you obtained DICCI through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the licence to the iOS application unless App Store Connect expressly shows a DICCI custom EULA. These Terms govern the DICCI account and service. Apple is not DICCI’s service provider and is not responsible for DICCI customer support. DICCI is solely responsible for the service, subject to the applicable Apple terms and law.

T20. General provisions and contact

If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply and the affected provision will be interpreted as closely as law permits. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or these Terms without DICCI’s consent; DICCI may transfer them with the service subject to applicable law and notice where required.
