Delete your account

In the app (recommended)

1. Open dicci and go to your Profile.
2. Open Your data & privacy.
3. Choose Delete my account. You will be asked to enter your password again, so nobody who picks up your phone can delete your account for you.

The request is recorded immediately and your account is scheduled for deletion 7 days later. The same screen shows the scheduled date and a Cancel deletion button for the whole of those 7 days.

Can't access the app?

Email support@dicci.ai from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We use the sender address to verify it is you, then record the request for you. The same 7-day grace period and the same erasure apply.

Using dicci as a guest?

If you have not created an account, you can still delete everything you added. Open Profile, then Your data & privacy, and choose Delete my data. A guest has no password, and nothing can sign back in to a guest session, so there is no 7-day wait and no way to cancel: your request is recorded at once, the app signs you out of the guest session, and everything you added as a guest — your wardrobe photos, cut-outs, profile photo, dicci model, looks and AI permissions — is deleted within 48 hours, in the same order as an account's (photos first, then records, then the guest login). The same deletion receipt, which does not identify you, is kept.

What happens after the 7 days

Deletion completes automatically. A daily job on our servers finds every request whose grace period has ended and erases the account in this order, so a failure at any step leaves nothing orphaned and the request is simply retried the next day:

1. Your photos first. Every file in your private storage folder is removed — wardrobe photos, cut-outs, thumbnails, your profile photo, your dicci model and any generated outfit pictures — and the folder is listed again to confirm nothing survived.
2. Then your records. Your wardrobe items and their descriptions, your taste and figure-presentation settings, your profile photo and dicci model records, saved and planned looks, wear history, feedback, AI-processing consents, notification token, and any messages you sent us through the contact form or in-app support. If your email address is also on the website waitlist, that entry is erased in the same step.
3. Finally your login. Your account, email address and name are deleted. You are signed out everywhere and cannot sign back in.

What we keep, and why

Two small records survive, and neither identifies you:

• A deletion receipt. A one-way keyed hash of your former account id, the time you requested deletion, the time it completed, and how many files were removed. It cannot be turned back into your id, email or name. It exists so we can prove to a regulator that a deletion request was honoured.
• A waitlist erasure log entry (only if you were on the website waitlist): a one-way hash of the email address, the request type and the outcome. Same purpose.

Nothing else is kept in our active systems. Encrypted backups made by our hosting provider may hold a copy until they are deleted or overwritten on the backup cycle; they are not restored for ordinary use (Privacy Policy P9).

What deletion does not undo

Deleting your account deletes what dicci holds in its active systems. It does not send a separate deletion request to the AI services you allowed, so what was already sent to them is handled as the Privacy Policy describes for each one (sections P6.1 to P6.5).

• Personal try-on (P6.4). If you turned on Use my own photo, your profile photo — a photograph of your face — was sent to Pruna to make your dicci model, and your dicci model was sent with each full look you asked to see. A face identifies you. Under its data-processing agreement with dicci, Pruna must delete the data dicci entrusted to it when the service ends; Pruna publishes no retention period, and what it creates stays at an unlisted web address at Pruna for a limited period after it is made. Nothing sent to Pruna includes your name, email or account id.
• Full looks (P6.2). Garment images, dicci's own house model and, if you allowed it, cut-outs of your own pieces were sent to Pruna under the same agreement.
• Garment analysis and Stylist messages (P6.1, P6.5). Once you had allowed it, the photo (or cut-out) of a garment you added or asked dicci to analyse, or the messages you typed to the Stylist — and, if you had agreed to it, the names, kinds and colours of the pieces in the look on screen — were sent to Google's Gemini API. What Google keeps, and for how long, is set by Google's terms for that service. Neither carried your account details (name, email or account id).
