Delete your account

In the app (recommended)

1. Open dicci and go to your Profile.
2. Open Your data & privacy.
3. Choose Delete my account. You will be asked to enter your password again, so nobody who picks up your phone can delete your account for you.

The request is recorded immediately and your account is scheduled for deletion 7 days later. The same screen shows the scheduled date and a Cancel deletion button for the whole of those 7 days.

Can't access the app?

Email support@dicci.ai from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We use the sender address to verify it is you, then record the request for you. The same 7-day grace period and the same erasure apply.

What happens after the 7 days

Deletion completes automatically. A daily job on our servers finds every request whose grace period has ended and erases the account in this order, so a failure at any step leaves nothing orphaned and the request is simply retried the next day:

1. Your photos first. Every file in your private storage folder is removed — wardrobe photos, cut-outs, thumbnails and any generated outfit pictures — and the folder is listed again to confirm nothing survived.
2. Then your records. Your wardrobe items and their descriptions, your taste and figure-presentation settings, saved and planned looks, wear history, feedback, AI-processing consents, notification token, and any messages you sent us through the contact form or in-app support. If your email address is also on the website waitlist, that entry is erased in the same step.
3. Finally your login. Your account, email address and name are deleted. You are signed out everywhere and cannot sign back in.

What we keep, and why

Two small records survive, and neither identifies you:

• A deletion receipt. A one-way keyed hash of your former account id, the time you requested deletion, the time it completed, and how many files were removed. It cannot be turned back into your id, email or name. It exists so we can prove to a regulator that a deletion request was honoured.
• A waitlist erasure log entry (only if you were on the website waitlist): a one-way hash of the email address, the request type and the outcome. Same purpose.

Nothing else is retained. We do not keep a copy of your photos, your wardrobe or your email address.

What deletion does not undo

If you consented to AI processing, the individual photos or messages already sent to a provider were handled under that provider's own retention terms at the time (see the Privacy Policy, "Who processes it"). Deleting your dicci account does not send a further request to those providers, because dicci never gave them anything that identifies you.
